Sony mylo

Isn't it cute? Wait, cute isn't exactly a word you use when describing gadgets, eh? But with this new Sony aiming at the 18 to 22 year-old market, cute would do very well --along with the usual youth buzz words like hip, trendy, cool.

The Sony mylo stands for "my life online" and is targeted for those who want constant or continuous web presence. It's for keeping in touch with friends, and for this age group, maybe even family. It can do VoIP, instant messaging, email, and web browsing via Opera. But it's not limited to online activities. It can also play mp3s (what gagdet can't nowadays?) and video at "65,536 colors at a crisp 320x240-pixel resolution" according to CNet Asia. Unfortunately, Sony plans to release this only in the US. Boo!
